Guest guest
Dee - Thank you for the quick response - I'm getting my info together so I can talk to my dr - hopefully later today - now that I'm feeling pretty good, I'm just trying to stay on an even keel, and get my love life back! I've got the best husband, who has been so good thru all of this, and now that I feel better, part of me doesn't want to work! I'll let you know what happens, but thank you!!!!! Have a great day! Guest guest
Hi Kathy and everyone. I'm on Testosterone!! and I love it!! I take 2.50 mg daily but sublingually under the tongue. AND I also use a natural Testosterone cream topically 2% in a nice white creamy type lotion, not sticky or ucky as in a petroleum base. I've been on both for over a year now! Both types are made with soy. I get them both compounded at College Pharmacy, (the number is: 1-) I've had absolutely NO bad side effects at all, and using it topically in addition to the Estrace may be EXACTLY what IS needed there. (in reference to her being afraid to put it there) it's known to build tissue as well as the Estrace. I added it topically the last 2 months of the 6 total to restoration. It's to toughen and strengthen the skin. I still do a topical application twice a week as maintenance and take the sublingual every day. No bad effects at all, just feeling great. I can't tell you what a difference its made all around, I'm not the screaming Wild Cat I used to be, haha,, but a nice softly purring Kitty and quite content, Meow " Meow " haha.. I do want to emphasize that I DO NOT use the Methyl form, but only the natural micronized made with soy. My levels are finally near where they should be according to records I had from earlier times. I'm one who says GO FOR IT!! From my experience anyway. Hope this helps, Warmest, Dee~ P.S. I did try the DHEA, It's great stuff from all I've read, but apparently could not take it as it made my breasts extremely tender. I tried again 6 mos. later but still had the same effect. *sigh*.. for what that's worth.
Guest guest
Hi Dee! I was thinking about a testosterone cream (as my vulvar tissue is very thin and breaks easily, plus my libido is sort of a shadow of what it once was). I asked my mom (Dr. Mom, M.D.) about it and she warned me about " mannish " side effects. Facial hairs, etc. What is your experience with this, if any? Also, how does DHEA effect breast tenderness and why? Curious, - ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
