Guest guest
HI - I just received bloodwork results that show a very low testosterone level, which we're hoping will explain why my libido level is extremely low. One of the things my gyn was considering is a testosterone cream - but because of the vulvadynia, realized that it might not be an option for me. She also mentioned injections but said they are normally only used in older women. (I'll be 40 next week.) Has anyone tried the testosterone cream or DHEA cream (a " mother " hormone that converts to testosterone and other hormones)? My rheumatologist (I have fibro also) suggested that getting off the birth control pills (for control of endometriosis - I've had my tubes tied, so I don't take them for birth control) might also help the libido level, but then I get into having the endo act up, and bleeding which kills my skin, so I would probably end up having a hysterectomy...ANY suggestions? My gyn is supposed to call me later today or tonight. Thank you! Kathy
