Guest guest
Fasting has to be done correctly for people with gallbladder stones in order to avoid the stagnation of bile. So, for us in here, if we are going to fast, make extra sure that it is in a beneiftial way for the gb as well as fasting used as an elimination of other bodily toxins. Oterwise we could be making more stones, if you see what I mean? I agree, Barry, about fasting. One has to be careful with it. Dr. Cabot has a slow fast which is very healthy. Of course, every year are family keeps the Day of Atonement, in which it's a fast. I actually feel healthier afterwards, but it's only one day: no water, no food..nothing! Also, the doctors (Plural) told me that rapid weight loss causes buildup in the GBs. They have found this out. This is a fact! It sounds logical, BTW, because when we lose weight, we're getting rid of sludge that must go somewhere. It's kind of a Catch-22 deal. Darn if you do, darn if you don't! This is where cleanses help tremendously. I have lost a bunch of weight at one time or another in my life, and thinking back on the way that I lost it, it wasn't too healthy. I have to admit that I'm in this boat now because of NOT understanding nutrition. Take care, Susie
