Guest guest
I don't believe I have ever seen such a word and sure couldn't find it in Dorland's. When " a " is used in front of a word, it gives the meaning of not, such as asymptomatic means not symptomatic. The doctor may just be trying to say the pain is not chronic. Then again, the patient may be the one who said the pain is " achronic " , in which case it should be in quotes. MG >>> 02/19/01 04:49PM >>> Pain, which is described as s/l achronic or Achronic.
