Holy Cow! I would have been soooo mad if they had not

had a room for you. I am pretty sure our room is ok.

I called when I wanted the exact price for the check

and they found Jacquie's name right away. I got an

e-mail from the place I bought my ticket on Friday,

but I am going to call the airline too.

I had this big panic thing last night as I was trying

to go to sleep. More about leaving the kids than

about actually going to the conference. I just hope

they are ok while I am gone. Dh says I am crazy cause

I wrote out this big note for each kid on how they

like to go to sleep and what they like to eat and play

with, etc. I am just worried that they are going to

miss me and be crying the whole time I am gone.

On the plus side, my nails are done, my hair is done,

I bought two new outfits to wear and tomorrow when I

take Ebony to my parent's house, I get a new pair of

shoes and some extra film for my camera. Today I get

to get laundry completely caught up and pack bags for

the kids and start packing my luggage. Are you guys

bringing a razor to shave your legs? I have heard

that you are not allowed to bring a shaver in your

luggage...because it could be used as a weapon?

Anyone know anything about that? I don't want to end

up in jail for a leg shaver...ya know? We are leaving

my house at 3 am on Tuesday morning. Yikes!!

Speaking of meds....I plan on drinking and I know with

Prozac there is a warning right on the bottle not to

mix with alcohol. Does that mean I can't take my pill

on the days I plan to drink? I hardly ever drink, but

I had planned to while in PA with no kids to worry

about. That would be a bummer!

I only got my hair trimmed, but I had it highlighted

and I actually like it. For once. I usually hate my

hair for about a week after I have it done. LOL

Plus I have been tanning and that makes me feel

better. Do you think that would help you with the SAD

stuff. Maybe I have that and don't even realize it,

cause I start to feel really really good if I can tan.

Hmmmm....

I was planning on bringing one, but maybe I will just buy one at the hotel.

I normally go about a week without shaving my legs, but my PITS are a

priority!!!

I envy you having your nails done. I had tips done a week ago in

anticipation, and then one of my nails split right down into the nail

bed...so they're short as all getout now. :-( I got my hair cut, too...and

it's too short! AGH!

I spent 30 mintues yesterday at Walmart trying to decide between a

disposable camera and an inexpensive (like, $30 Canadian)advantix

camera...we HAVE 2 good cameras at home, both broken, and 2 crap cameras

that take worse pics than disposable cameras. I chose the single-use

jobbie. I was also looking for a new purse, because Vicki informed me that

I have an 'old lady' purse and need something younger. Didn't find one.

I got a new sweater, too!!!

Today I'm finishing laundry, have scrubbed all three toilets, and am going

to tackle the abominable garage so as not to give my mother a heart attack

when she arrives. :-( (she has to go into the garage for recycling and

garbage)

I'm just wondering what all to pack! I've got something for Tamara, the

animals for Grace...I haven't really planned on bringing kid pics, but if

you guys are I don't want to leave my kid out.

Need to pack. Need to make a list. Need to NOT forget my meds!!!!! (that

goes for you guys, too)

Jacquie

PS I've found a route to take that doesn't include toll roads...and I can't

print the map because my printer is out of black ink!!!

I am human.

By the way, I was mistress of the Feast at the Renisannse Festival

here in Minnesota one year and I saw first hand what prozac and

alcohol can do ------- Don't do it - you'll be having so much fun,

you won't need the meds and you definately don't want to go where you

could if you drink. I think they took this lady out in an ambulance

after just two beers. It definately wasn't pretty. You should

probably even skip it for a day or two before if possible.

Well, in that case, I can be cheap and get a buzz!

Bonus!! I have a really high tolerance usually and

have to do like 4 or 5 shots to get a buzz going. It

gets expensive. So usually if I am planning to drink

I take a few shots before going to the bar or

whatever. I am pretty cheap! LOL! Seriously, I do

not hardly ever drink....like 3 or 4 times a year

maybe. But it takes so much. Everyone else has a

beer and starts to get happy. It is definetely not

fair.

Anyone else on Prozac ever had a problem with mixing

some drinks with it?

Got it! Now that makes sense. I just couldn't

believe they would not let you bring a shaver if you

checked it. I mean, really. What am I going to
