Guest guest
Vince If your wife still has any of that research I would be interested to read about it. If not, I'll just do a search on my own. So your wife takes wormwood on a regular basis? I thought that was something that was primarily used for parasite cleansing. Are there other purposes for it? The only time I've ever ingested it was as an ingredient in the parasite cleanse formulas. in health, rachel new_man85@... writes: > My wife found that the periods were more frequent and heavier while on > wormwood. Guest guest
My wife found that the periods were more frequent and heavier while on wormwood. She researched and found this is a known effect of wormwood. She now regulates the timeing of the wormwood doses to coincide with the normal period times and it works well. Guest guest
Hi , Hulda recommends a once per week parasite maintenance program in which you take 2 tsp. Black Walnut Hull Tincture, 7 200-300 mg capsules wormwood capsules, and 3 capsules 500 mg Cloves. It was while doing this that my wife found she had longer and more frequent periods. She has since stopped the maintenance program and does parasite cleansing occasionally when she feels the need. She takes the wormwood and other herbs when it coincides with that time for her. An excerpt of the following site is below, and states the connection between Wormwood and increased menstruation: http://www.gnc.com/health_notes/Herb/Wormwood.htm As a traditional medicine, wormwood was used by herbalists as a bitter to improve digestion, to fight worm infestations, and to stimulate menstruation.[Reference 2] It was also regarded as a useful remedy for liver and gallbladder problems.
