Hi all,

This just came to me from Mayo Clinic and I thought it was a decent article

explaining what Allan has been saying about the connection between the nerves

and pain and how it all works. Thank you Allan for that explanation and why

the benefits possibly with using Lidocaine or some of the antiseizure drugs also

.. I suppose similiar to a muscle relaxant, that once the muscles relax it

gives them a chance to heal. No? Warmest, Dee~

" Polyneuropathy - Damaged nerves "

Polyneuropathies involve damage to multiple peripheral nerves. Symptoms

depend on the affected nerves, and may include numbness, loss of sensation,

weakness, and even bowel and bladder dysfunction. Find out more.

Dr. St. Amand of the Fibro protocol says that pain in Fibro patients is

probably due to the fact that cells are supposed to relax when not working

but that they do not relax, and never relax. His solution is to take

guaifenesin to eliminate the phosphates which build up in the cells

preventing them from relaxing.

A large percentage of Fibromyalgia sufferers have vulvar and bladder

problems as well as bowel problems.
