Guest guest
I have systemic decay of my teeth. I have had over 13 root canals and several apicos(sp) which is what they do when the root canal fails. My dentist is trying her best and the endodontist is disgusted with what is happening in my mouth. I also have a terrible time getting and staying numb. I had one endodontist joke that he was going to start charging me for the excess Novocain. And then there is the horrible feeling I get from all that Novocain in my body, the shakes and jittery. And I can't use the Novocain with epi. If anyone can find written facts about how the RSD affects the mouth and teeth then my dentist would write to Medicare and they would pay for all the work I have to have done. I only have about 4 normal teeth in my mouth and about to lose the front two. I have had to had crowns redone several times as I lose bone and have more decay. I also have to use sensitive tooth paste and even that hurts my teeth. I also use a prescription toothpaste that is all fluoride. Guest guest
Felice, As far as I know, there isn't anything in writing unless you can find something in the quiz's of Hooshmand's. There is so little research done on this. But I guess that is where I would look. Good luck.
