Guest guest
Dear Gang, Some time ago, I came across an article released by Dr. Steinman of Stanford University reporting that a common Japanese perscription allergy drug called Tranilast (a tryptophan metabolite derivative) stopped Multiple Sclerosis. Tranilast is used for transplant patients in the US but you can't get a perscription for it ere.I contacted Dr. Steinman and he told me I should stick to conventional drug treatment. Now there is a press release that states Dr. Steiman and a drug company have joined forces to test and market Tranilast as a drug for treatment of autoimmune diseases. You can find this by searching google for Multiple Sclerosis and Tranilast. They have known about this for years. I get angry when I remember how he brushed me off. I get angry when I think of my kid sister rotting in bed during these years when she could have been helped. I wonder how much money he will make on this? In the meantime, I'm pricing flights to Japan. Lydia
