Some people are given the dose and do not have to be isolated in the

hospital at all. I've never been hospitalized longer than 2 days.

Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 35.75 allows the

release

of an individual who has been administered a therapeutic amount of

Iodine -

131 if the total effective dose equivalent to any other individual is

not

likely to exceed 5 millisieverts (500 millirem).

How do your numbers translate to mCi's? Is 5 millisieverts equal to

5 mCi?
