Guest guest
MS certainly does defy logic but what is healthy for the rest of the population maybe not so for us (dairy/wheat/legumes). I sometimes think would I be in this situation if I'd have eaten all the " bad " things instead? Diet certainly doesn't seem to be the whole story. Janet ----- Original Message ----- From: Beverly RP--I can DEFINITIVELY say I would rather be poor and healthy. Janet--I don't know what to make of your story. By all rights you should be the healthiest person around. MS defies logic:( Beverly
Guest guest
When these remote peoples are introduced to modern peoples and their diets they are also introduced to new pathogins and toxins that I believe have faster degenereative effects. There are a number of things that may correlate, but to this day they can't tell us what causes these degenerative diseases, in us or the remote peoples. It was the white mans diseases that was the most devastating thing to the Indians, not his diet. I know diet is a factor, but I still don't believe it's the cause of M/S. ...RP RP--There is an old, classic book written by Weston Price. He was a dentist who went to remote islands/areas and studied native people and their native diets.

Guest guest
RP--I am in agreement with you on the fact that there are so many variables and I'm sure nobody can blame one thing or the other for a disease like MS (and so many others). Which, of course, only makes it that much harder for people like us to try to effect a cure. So many bases to cover. Guest guest
, It was NOT diseases. It IS diet, and the resulting acidity. If you re-normalize your alkalinity, MS tends to " just go away. " drthreex@... Dr. Dan
Guest guest
Hi Dan, diet works much like LDN. It enables the immune system to kill pathogins. Some pathogins harm the immune system as a target. Sometimes diet and LDN fail because the immune system is too damaged and other interventions are needed. Depending on the disease. An alkaline system is best, but it can't always cure alone. ....RP , It was NOT diseases. It IS diet, and the resulting acidity. If you re-normalize your alkalinity, MS tends to " just go away.
