I have never heard it expressed in nanograms, always in IU (international

units). Vitamin E could be given as 1000 IU. Docs have been known to get

things like IU, mg, mcg, etc. confused before. Margaret

I have heard of nanograms, but Margaret is correct that usually Vitamin E is

given in International Units.
