Guest guest
Hi all and Anne, sorry this is off subject, but.... Just wanted to say 'thanks' for that post about stomach acid, you explained it very clearly. Generally it's the opposite of what we normally think right? I have a question if I may. I was recently dianosed with Severe gastritis, and severe inflammation of the Duodenum...(with a scope and anesthesia) it's supposedly too much stomach acid, though I feel no burning or reflux. I feel pulsing pain,(not burning) in the solar plexes area, and has no connection with eating. At first I thought it was heart, but that's ok. They did a biopsy and it shows NO H-Pylori bacteria. Of course they gave me Prilosec, I took one pill and it's left such a horrible bitter metallic taste in my mouth that I can't get rid of and haven't touched it since. (not sure if it's the Prilosec, anesthesia, or the disturbance of the stomach acid) but it's been 2 months and it's still there, *sigh*... Do you think I have too much stomach acid or is it not enough... this is very confusing to me. Thanks, Warmest regards , Dee~
