Not that there is anything wrong with chiropractors, but he is not a medical doctor...I think that might be more what you want...like a neurologist. At least he is honest but make him show you proof. GO meet these actual people. Recommend you talk to a medical doctor before you do anything like this. Also, covered by medical insurance? >These are the factors he considered to decide that my son is a good >candidate, 1. Sirisha I don't mean to be so skeptical but you should proceed very carefully and please talk to a good pediatric neurologist before you do anything with this. Also, talk to your audiologist. If she knows anythng about treating hearing loss she would be able to say Yay or Nay to this. This stuff sounds extremely questionable to me. Guest guest
Sirisha, for some reason my response did not hit the hotmail. I think you need to be so careful. This man is a chiropractor, not a medical doctor and not a neurologist. Anything you did, make sure you have the backing of your pediatric neurologist AND your audiologist. I was skeptical and wary of all the glowing comments about him. Whatever he did to treat the boy with developmental disabilities does not sound right either. Sometimes disabilities have to do with neurotransmitters in the brain - something I would not trust a chiropractor to do. PLEASE be careful ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
> Does anybody have any idea about NCR (Neural Cranial Restructuring) > treatment? I've never heard of it before, or this doctor - and I live here in San . I think that if the results this person gets were as great as they say they are, everyone would be talking about it. But then again, that's just me. I guess all I can really say is if you proceed, do so with caution. Hugs, Kay

I tend to be a cynic about this kind of thing...I always think, if it sounds too good to be true, well, if it WERE true, we'd be hearing about it on Dateline, not on the Internet. ;-) >1. His hearing loss was present at birth, though, so I know it wasn't *caused* by any of these things...I'm not sure how treating them would be a factor in restoring hearing...but of course, if you do find some testimonials from people claiming that their hearing loss was corrected or significantly helped, let us know, and talk to your pediatrician!! I'd want to ask them a bajillion questions.

My son had it and the cup kept popping off because he was lodged in the birth canal. He has a pretty serious case of ADHD and has been medicated since he turned 4. Anyone else on the list have a child with ADHD that the extractor was used on??? Elaine Cueing Mom to Jake/6yrs/Clarion CI/2-
Guest guest
Hi Kirsten, Thanks for the information. I would like to hear more information from you on this. Is there any web site I can browse through?
