Congratulations on your baby boy! Not sure what to think about your septum. Could it just be hidden by everything else (e.g. placenta, etc) right now? I am BU and by the time I was 17 weeks, they couldn't see my right horn on u/s anymore b/c the left horn had gotten so large. Although I'm sure they could find it if they went looking for it! I have had my cervix measured every two weeks since week 17- it's so worth it to know what's going on- even if the " frequent doctor program " can be a hassle. Guest guest
Glad to hear all is well Melinda! How interesting about the septum...could it perhaps have moved over, making it difficult to see on US? > _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

I have a BU with septum and had a level 2 over two weeks ago. They cannot see it on the US and from what I have read this is common. We are also having a boy! Congrats. Guest guest
Congratulations! My septum shortened as my pregnancy progressed due to the growth and stretching of the uterus. By the end, it wasn't even apparent on an ultrasound anymore and my uterus appeared normal. Maybe this is what is happening with you? Unfortunately, my doctors did assure me that my uterus would return to its previous, um, " unique " structure after delivery. Good luck!
