Guest guest
Lydia-- I've been " out of it " for a few days, so just now read your post. Something interesting about the pepto-bismol. I have an auto-immune colitis (perpetual diarrhea) which nothing helps except steroids. I mean, not just me, but anyone. I can research till I'm blue in the face, but nothing. EXCEPT I did read about one study where the patients took this huge amount of pepto-bismol and it actually helped get rid of the diarrhea. And the patients' diarrhea stayed away even after they stopped the pepto. (See link below) http://www.finerhealth.com/Educational_Info/Microscopic_Colitis/FAQ/ At any rate, it seems like a funny coincidence that the pepto-bismol helped your handwriting, supposedly by helping your leaky gut/stomach lining. I wonder what this means? I tried the pepto for my colitis, but honestly, the taste of the stuff made me gag and I stopped before it helped. (I know; I'm a wuss). Maybe I should just bite the bullet and try again. Maybe it will help other things in addition to the colitis? An interesting curiousity.
