What does optic neuritis look like?

Hi All,

I have a question. What are the symptoms of optic neuritis? I don't

know if I am just getting old and need glasses on a daily basis or if

this is MS. I haven't had a flare up in some time and have only been

affected in my mobility. Now it seems like everything is a bit blurry

and I feel a bit dizzy - Especially if I move my head too fast. The

morning is the worst when I first wake up. Does this sound like optic

neuritis? I have always had 20/20 vision an started need glasses

(light over the counter) for reading when I hit 40. It kind of came

on suddenly and I HATE to see my neurologist because he will just yell

at me for not taking the drugs and say " I told you so " . I will admit,

my diet hasn't been the best these last couple weeks with the kids

birthdays and bbqs.
