Guest guest
Roe, Yes, I am completely symptom free, as long as I stay away from gluten, and all food additives, (especially MSG and aspartame). Gluten, MSG and aspartame will turn me into a dizzy, stuttering, brain fogged mess with no balance. As long as I don't eat gluten, MSG and aspartame, I don't have those symptoms. I've been 100% raw for about 3 weeks, and the main differences I've noticed are that I have more energy than I did at 80% raw. My husband's noticed that I don't have mood swings anymore, as well. I'm still going through detox symptoms right now, so I can't say if there will be any more benefit from being 100% raw. My asthma has been worse in the last 3 weeks than it's been in 3 years, but I was expecting that as my body flushes out the cooked foods, but I expect it to get better. I have SPMS and I also take LDN. The biggest improvements I've seen have been from the LDN and eliminating MSG and gluten from my diet. (I've never used aspartame) Yvette > So would you say you are MS symptom free? > > Roe > > --- In mscured <mscured%40yahoogroups.com>, " Atlantean > Productions " < >
Guest guest
I don't know about anyone else, , but I was listening. It just took me some time to be ready to go 100% raw. This wasn't planned, it just kind of happened. I woke up one morning and decided to do a watermelon fast. I came off the watermelon fast a week later and only wanted raw foods. I've had no cravings, no desire to go back to my one cooked meal. Although, I did slip over the weekend, and absentmindedly grabbed a handful of scrambled eggs from a pan my husband had made for the kids. (I hadn't had my morning smoothie yet because my husband was out getting me fresh blueberries) 30 min later I was zapped of all my energy, tired, moody, and dizzy. I ate a bunch of watermelon, drank a half gallon of distilled water and went to lie down. An hour later, I felt better. I was surprised because I haven't had those symptoms since I started the LDN, a year ago. .. well.. except the moodiness.. I've ALWAYS had mood swings, but they seem to be fading with the raw diet. Guest guest
About one month ago I bought a very good and expensive water processing machine. It processes the tap water through several filters and osmosis. There is a noticeable difference in taste. I have noticed that since I started drinking this water I am feeling a slight fatigue. I hope I am going through a detox. Previously, I used to drink bottled water because tap water in my city is awful. Does anybody know how long might such a detox last? Other things in my regiment are the same (supplements, BBD, lifestyle). Katerina
Guest guest
Katerina, I don't know how long detox will last. It depends on how much you have to detox, how quickly your body detoxes, and how pure your diet is. What kind of water filter did you buy, and how do you like it? Guest guest
Yvette, I have a friend with MS in another state. She called last night, started a new " drip " type medicine. She is feeling all sorts of bad feelings since the meds started. I told her about you, diet and detox ideas-can you email her? She wants info, is looking into natural cures instead of meds. Simply email me at my personal addy and I will be glad to send her email address. walkbyfaith@... have a " SON FILLED " day in Christ, lovingly in Christ, Pastor Barb (pastoral care in gerontology,B.P.M./STNA) http://www.encouragers4seniors.info LEV. 19:32 You shall rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I am the Lord. _____
Guest guest
Yvette, thank you for your interest. My water filter is called " Purolux " by MORA and comes from Germany. Two alternative doctors I trust have it in their offices and this is how I decided to investigate about it. Information in the internet is in German. Here is how it functions, from what I have studied: Water is cleaned mainly through reverse osmosis, which lets a minimal quantity of traces and minerals to pass through. Traces and minerals contained in water are very rarely in pure form. They are usually in form of salts our organism is unable to absorp. Our organism breaks the salts down in order to use the traces and minerals but at the same time free radicals are produced, which is one of the causes of oxidative stress. Evenmore, we absorp 99% of the taces and minerals we need from food and only 1% from water. I have to make clear that I have nothing to do with the company or any kind of advertising the product. I was convinced by the theory behind it, bought it and I am not sure of its effectiveness yet. I hope I am detoxing. Much oxidative stress was found in my organism when I had a bio-ressonance test, although my diet has always been pure and I am have been on a strict BBD for one year now. Never drunk alkohol, never smoked and haven't drunk any coffee for five years now. I think my oxidative stress has to do with much emotional stress I used to have in the past (it is much better now). Any input will be apprecisted. Katerina
Guest guest
Possibly detox, and possibly removing your minerals also, as demineralized water pulls minerals where ever it can. Water has an affinity for minerals. ....RP minerals and water are what you are. About one month ago I bought a very good and expensive water processing machine. Guest guest
Thanks Katrina. We're in the market for a water purifier, and it helps to have a list of purifiers that others trust. I'll have to check out their website. My husband reads German, so it shouldn't be to difficult. Thanks!
