I started with gluten and casein and my fatigue was gone 5 weeks into

it. Actually, I don't think I even went that whole 5 weeks without

slip-ups. lol Then I moved onto soy and the rest of the beans and

peas. I knew from the outset that, no matter what, I would never go

back to gluten and casein. After my last episode with soy, I swear I

won't touch that again either. ;)

I just wanted to say that, for me, the emotional benefits of the BBD

are just as important as the physical. When I first heard " MS " in

relation to myself, I had some fear...not necessarily of the disease

itself, but whether I would be able to continue raising my kids on my

own. They are only 5 and 3 - I have a long way to go! Once I found

the BBD, all fear was gone. It was so empowering! Although I found

more than enough anecdotal evidence to convince myself of its

efficacy, I also knew instinctively how well it would work b/c I have

seen the gf/cf diet work for autism.

Anyways, the BBD has been and will remain the cornerstone of my

healing from this devastating disease. I'm doing lots of other stuff

like acupuncture, herbs, detox, want to try cranio-sacral, etc. but,

for me, they are adjunct therapies to my main treatment of following

this diet. The power of food is quite amazing. :)
