Hi April--

I read your gas tank anology...sounds good.

When I first started doing IE one of things I read was that if you were filling

your gas tank and it was full...you would never keep putting gas into it--it

would spill all over the ground. Well, in essence, that is what extra food in

our bodies does--it spills all over into our bodies.

That image stuck with me.

In the book I just finished, it talked of the gas tank mental-picture, and it

said the same thing... that you'd never fill your gas tank overfull, so why do

you do that with your stomach? They also went further and said that, if you put

more food in your stomach than it NEEDS, it's like filling up your gas tank on

your car to overfull, and then opening the trunk and filling it, too!!! :P LOL
