My " doc " had handed me a copy of the report with the syrinx diagn. on it

while I was heading out the door ... I had to turn around, go back in his

office, and ask " what is this syringomyelia thing " ... we blew it off ... I

have a little worm in my neck and he treats it like I have a zit that will go

away ...

Ugh ...

I took him chocolate chip cookies (frosted sandwich ones ....) and he's a

diabetic ... oops, my bad ..

Hi Liz,

Welcome. ...Sounds like you got your platter heaped with interesting

life events...but 3 beautiful children....keep that first and foremost in

mind.

So fibroids arrived, cancer, possibly...but where? pelvic, breast, brain?

Walking down this path together, holding hands...hey, remember the

candy conveyer belt on one episode of I Love Lucy? My favorite.

What kind of foods are you eating?

Are you following the exchange plan? Do you count carbs?

Hello jude_trialwatchers@...,

In reference to your comment:

ð i didnt eat for three days just took 3400 mg of

ð glucophage and my sug levels were still between

ð 285-372....

Jude.... not eating can be just as bad for us as diabetics as eating...

By not eating you are telling your liver that you are in starvation mode...

and asking it to create glucose....

Try eating a serving of protein 3 - 5 x a day, and also taking your meds, and

see where you levels are :)

i am not a dr but a quick temprary fix would be to use insulin until you do

see the dr. t2's are frequently switched to insulin to help during major

surgery or other stress times. another solution would be to contact

glucophage manufracturers and ask for list of medications which might not

react with glucophage though that would not address your own issues. in

england the pharmacist are very helpful as well as the er in any hospital,

but that is mainly because the medical system is state insured so they are

more open to provide the necessary help. If i were in your situation i know

the hospital would admit me try out the different drugs find the rt.

cocktail then release me after making sure the medicines are not reacting

then all future appt. would be closely monitored so as to catch future

reactions quickly. regards cheeky

I would guess that you have some kind of pelvic abnormality which could probably

be fixed if you could endure the exam. You were told that your cervix was low

and that is not normal. Perhaps you can get a Gyn to arrange for some kind of

sedation or numbing before the exam so that he/she can identify the problem.

Good luck.

Your are definately in the right group. It sounds like you have to find a doctor that specialized in vulvar problems and/or vulvodynia. It is too bad that this is lasting so long. There is treatment. This is a great sight for information. Where do you live and maybe someone on this group can direct you to a doctor that can help?

Thanks
