I am so relieved for you!!!! And yes that does explain alot!!!! Not enough blood flow to the brain huh??? I am trying so hard here not to make any snide remarks, but it is so hard. And knowing that it will level off, must make you feel alot better knowing that it is not going to last forever.

I FINALLY HAVE ANSWERS!!!! (long)

Hi everyone, He said what's been causing these problems, is everyone has "synchronizers"in their bodies, which help direct how much blood is pumped throughout thebody, and some of mine are a bit "tweaked", which results in blood whichpools in areas of the body (usually and most common, the legs, or abdomen),and doesn't allow enough blood to be pumped to the head, and a reduction inmy blood pressure. Obviously, not having enough blood in the head, willcause either dizziness, disoriented feeling, or Syncope (passing out). Hebelieves my blood is pooling mostly in my leg area, of which case he hasadvised me to be fitting for support stockings, or wear support hose to helpprevent the blood vessels from dilating, which HOPEFULLY will help eliminateand prevent the blood from pooling in the leg area. Ok now, I'm only 29years YOUNG, but wearing support stockings? Hmm...I don't know about thatone! lol!Sorry so long, but needed to express my excitement...can ya tell?! Dawn/aka: Blondie, who now knows why she's a bit ditzy at times! ;)

I'm so glad you finally have some answers! It's been a long haul

for you, and to have serious symptoms, hospitalizations, tests etc. and

still not know what the problem was must have been very frustrating.

Anyway, congrats and thanks for sharing your good news!

Hi everyone,

After a VERY LONG 6 month wait for results of my ongoing health

issues,

today I got ANSWERS!!

For those of you not familiar w/my situation, I have had problems

since last

November with passing out, dizziness, disorientation at times,

and left

sided weakness. I went through hospitalization's), tests

upon tests, with

no result...until today!

I began seeing a new Neurologist in March at the New England Medical

Ctr.,

of which resulted in more tests. I recently had an MRA done

(MRI/Arterial

version), and today, the Dr. gave me answers!!!

He said what's been causing these problems, is everyone has "synchronizers"

in their bodies, which help direct how much blood is pumped throughout

the

body, and some of mine are a bit "tweaked", which results in blood

which

pools in areas of the body (usually and most common, the legs,

or abdomen),

and doesn't allow enough blood to be pumped to the head, and a

reduction in

my blood pressure. Obviously, not having enough blood in

the head, will

cause either dizziness, disoriented feeling, or Syncope (passing

out). He

believes my blood is pooling mostly in my leg area, of which case

he has

advised me to be fitting for support stockings, or wear support

hose to help

prevent the blood vessels from dilating, which HOPEFULLY will help

eliminate

and prevent the blood from pooling in the leg area. Ok now, I'm

only 29

years YOUNG, but wearing support stockings? Hmm...I don't

know about that

one! lol!

Now, this is important I believe for you all to read. The

Dr. said to me,

that due to a drastic weight loss in a short amount of time, that

no matter

whether you either LOSE weight, or GAIN weight, that a person's

body go

through "hell". He said that this is why most people you

ask in the medical

field, will often advise people of not doing the yo-yo type dieting

(up and

down in loss/gain). This puts that much more pressure on

the body, and

basically in his words "shocks the shit out of the body". He made

it VERY

CLEAR to me, that losing weight did NOT CAUSE this problem, but

helped

enhance it a bit. He claims that eventually as the loss tapers

off, I

should be much better, as my body will become so much more adjusted

to it.

I asked him straight out if the was CAUSED by the surgery, he said

"NO!", so

I replied with "Good, cuz it's too late...I'm stapled for life,

and NOT

turning back!" LOL. He stressed the importance of how much

I have HELPED my

body, even though going through some problems, but again, it is

not due to

having the surgery, it is due to losing a lot of weight, whether

it's from

WLS, Craig, or any other industrial type of weight loss clinic

out

there.

Either way in my eyes, I KNOW this is not caused by having surgery,

because

I had similar episodes a few years back, which goes to prove that

whether

losing or gaining weight, your body does go through "hell".

This all stems

back to the previous post from Carla, who mentioned that everyone's

body

will change once weight loss has happened. I completely agree

with her

statement, and not to sound vain, but, even though I'm a bit on

the pale

side right now, get tired easily, my skin is a tad dry, this was

the BEST

CHOICE I'VE EVER MADE in my entire life! I wouldn't turn

this around for

anyone, or anything else in the world. In my eyes, if I didn't

do this, I

would have been heavier than the beginning stages of this whole

thing, and

been experiencing this anyways, so what's the difference?

The difference

is, I will be MUCH healthier and happier in the long run, and running

marathons to prove it! :)

Sorry so long, but needed to express my excitement...can ya tell?!

I am so happy that you have your answers to your problem. I had to wear stockings for awhile after a bad bout with cellulites, they ain't so bad and my leg felt pretty good at the end of the day.
