Hi Trudy,

Nice to have you back. This is not a vote, just my experience. I

was prescribed Amoxycillin while suffering from a very sore throat.

I am in permanent afib, but having a bad throat and only being able

to whisper brought my heart rate up. Then taking Amoxycillin

initially did not make much of a difference, it actually got worse.

I was ready to drop the drug, when I realized I was also dealing with

a stomach virus which really got my heart racing. Being aware that

there was more involved I continued the med and had no further

episodes.
