Guest guest
Hello friends, After reading that there is a suspected link between Herpes Virus 6 and MS, I asked my doc to check me for Herpes 6. Sure enough, they say I have been exposed to it, though it is not active. Similarly, previous results show I have been exposed to Epstein Barr in the past, which is another virus linked to MS. Some researchers believe such viruses could be the cause of MS, though the research is by no means conclusive. What is worrying me is that if Herpes 6 or Epstein Barr is the cause of my MS, then maybe all these things I'm doing (BBD, chelation, saunas, colonics, even special diet) won't help. Can anyone give an opinion on this. I am under the impression that once a virus is in the system and is producing antibodies, it cannot be killed. As an aside, it makes me sick to think I probably got these viruses from kissing or being intimate with some guy who might have meant nothing to me. Not that I was ever promiscuous, but as a 41-year-old woman never married, obviously I have dated and have had intimacy. I understand both EBV and Herpes 6 can be transmitted through saliva, so it could even be just some guy I made out with at a party in college. Yuck. I wish I could take back any meaningless physical intimacies I had in the past. Anyway, below is a site presenting some research on Herpes 6 and MS. http://www.mult-sclerosis.org/HumanHerpesVirus6.html If anyone has an opinion on this topic, please let me know-- particularly is there a way to kill these viruses and if not, will my natural approaches to healing MS still be of help if viruses are my underlying cause. Oh, by the way, I'm also positive for Citomeglovirus in the past. I can't believe all these viruses are living in my body. It makes me feel so sad. Again, would appreciate any advice or opinions,
