first, I'd like to thanks everybody that read my post and all the

words of support.

Jeanne, I'm glad to know some of it might help to view yourself in

a bigger picture and may help you and your doctor understand if there

is an underlying disease producing the VV.

Since I wrote, I've had a couple of private emails suggesting that

some of the symptoms also coincide with fibromyalgia. Since there is

an overlap between Sjogrens and fibro is difficult to tell which one

is it but at least it all points in some direction and it does tell

the doctor which medicines to try or not. For instance I think that

Elavil increases so much dryness that it might not be good for you.

By the way, my scalp irritation, which is in flare since a couple of

days sounds exactly like yours. I couldn't have described it better.

Do you use anything?

In any case, as a general recommendation, seeing a internal medicine

doctor (not just your general MD) might be a good idea.
