Date: Mon, 4 Aug 2008 07:09:11 -0700 (PDT) hey steve, sounds like we're in much the same boat physically--though i'm a single mom of 39 (MS for 20 years now) in fresno CA, we've got the same fighting spirit. keep at it, and keep re-examining stuff you're doing that may be harming you. i rationalized smoking a few cigarettes a day and drinking coffee for years on the grounds that i needed to--and as soon as i stopped due to a severe health crisis (only a few weeks ago), i felt so much better--am actually sleeping, way more patience and optimism, less spasticity, etc.which i need a lot more, lol.... my suggestion to you is to write down all your symptoms in a table, then food journal for a week and see what makes which worse. it's a bit of a pain at first but the info that you get will be nothing short of miraculous. you can get a lot from this mscured list, it's true, but instead of barking up a whole bunch of trees, listen to your own body, which has its own issues. i would recommend, however, cutting out gluten and dairy. that does seem to be pretty unanimous. best of luck, and if i can help you with anything, plese let me know. love and healing light, aviva Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
