Guest guest Posted September 20, 2005 Report Share Posted September 20, 2005 AIDS vaccine trial on track: Ramadoss EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE Posted online: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 0252 hours IST PUNE, SEPTEMBER 19: Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Anbumani Ramadoss today expressed satisfaction at the status of the clinical trial of the anti-AIDS vaccine on humans. He announced that yet another trial to test the MVA will begin within a month at the Tuberculosis Research Centre at Chennai. Ramadoss was on a tour of the National AIDS Research Institute (NARI), where the country's first ever clinical trial on humans for an anti-AIDS vaccine are on. NARI director R S Paranjape said that the participants in the first phase of the clinical trial are set to receive the highest level dose.
