Guest guest
Why is the US Army considering funding NF2 research????? Jeff Write your congressman Dear Crew, Tomorrow I will be meeting with Representative Rodney Frelinhuysen, who is on the Appropriations Committee, to discuss granting us the $15million for NF Research via the US Army once again. Anyone who has a representative on this powerful committee, please email him--or email Frelinghuysen at Rodney.Frelinghuysen@... to ask him to support this important funding. Guest guest
Army and NF2 huh ??? There could be more to this than meets the eye !! Lots of Uranium enriched wepons these days that can most likely cause all sorts of very nasy long term effects, tumours and stuff. We make great long term research subjects for that kind of thing. OR HAVE I BEEN WATCHING TO MUCH X-FILES ????????? Guest guest
Barbara- Do you know if there's a Manhattan rep on the Appropriation's committee? Can you post a list of who is on that committee and where they are from - or tell us where to easily get the info. I think there may be an online way to get it. If you don't know, maybe our D.C. gov't person, Steve Cherrington knows? Suggestions as to the approach to take in such a letter? Barbara B. Guest guest
Barbara B. -- Below is a list of the members of the House Appropriations Committee. It's a large committee because, as Willie Sutton said when asked why he robbed banks, " That's where the money is. " And bringing home money to your district is the key to reelection. The targets for possible letters in support of NF-2 funding could be fine-tuned if Barbara F. could supply the name of the specific SUB-COMMITTEE that will be considering the request. (It's probably the " Subcommittee on Defense. " ) Steve ****************************************************************************** ** United States House of Representatives 106TH CONGRESS COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS - MEMBERSHIP C.W. Guest guest
Hi Jeff, I'm not exactly sure why this is so. I think it is because the Army has a big budget for medial research. It does seem a bit odd but that's how it is (I think). ---------- From: Jeff Wurst Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2000 12:24 AM To: NF2_Crewegroups Subject: RE: Write your congressman Why is the US Army considering funding NF2 research?????
