Mumbai: WORLDS AIDS DAY Solidarity march

Dear All,

You are coordially invited to participate in the World AIDS Day Solidarity March

on the 1st of December, Thursday, 4PM, at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, Hill Side

Avenue, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai.

The Indian Navl Band has obliged to be a part of this solidarity march and all

are requested to grab this oppurtunity to witness the fine performance of this

continent's best Naval Band.

Celebrities including Mrs Sudha Chandran and Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant have

confirmed their participation.

I sincelerly request all concerened to send accross a representation by HIV

infected individuals to utilise this platform and share their thoughts and lead

the solidarity march. We would be immensely honoured if these individuals could

grace the occassion and mingle with the celebrities, address the crowd and help

spread the awareness on AIDS.

Apart from this event we have two more sessions in the morning.

The firstsession begining 11 AM is a interschool debate on the topic " Keep the

promise, stop AIDS. Have we done enough? " The debate will be judged by eminent

personalities including the deputy editor Smt Vidyotama Sharma of news channel

Janmat.

The second session begining 2 PM is a interactive awareness session between the

target population including rickshaw & taxi drivers, call centre employees etc &

talk by eminent speakers like the CPS president Dr Saple.
