Guest guest
My son Matt (10, mile to moderate right, moderate/severe left) has used Digifocus for 2 years now, and the quality of the sound is better than his old Oticon analog aids. We noticed it immediately in the car on the way home. They do a good job of emphasizing speech sounds over background noise. But Matt's loss fluctuates somewhat, and there's no way for him to turn it up or down himself like there was on his previous aids. So we have to go to the audie for an adjustment from time to time. Otherwise, for Matt they've been great. They have been in for one repair due to moisture. (but we could do a better job of using the dry-aid!) >i just joined this list and have been reading the posts which i think >are great. my son Luke (3 3/4) was recently diagnosed with mild to >moderate loss and is getting oticon digifocus hearing aids. i was >wondering if anyone has these and how their child did with them. any >advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
