makes sense to me........my hypo plan

Hi again everyone (my thyca buds

Just want to make sure this makes sense to all of you beacuse

(unfortunatly) it does to me.

Saw my endo on Mon. (tsh was 63). Had tg drawn and it goes from CT to

be tested in CA which can take 2-3 weeks.

The plan is....I get scan dose on Mon.(6/11) and scan Fri. Depending

on results of scan I either get RAI if dirty or wait for tg results

which at that point could be antoher week or 2. If tg is elevated

despite a clean scan they are going to hit me with another RAI. In

between scan and tg results I stay off meds until it is determined

where my tg is at. so I am looking at going on meds (at the earliest

beginning of week 6/18) I know I will certianly be good and hypo at

that point!

Just wanted to make sure the " plan " sounds good to all of you!

Hi ,

My Tg was back in 3 days. Probably the same lab, (it was a

sendout to CA, also.) I would be calling my local lab and asking

why it is taking so long? And I hope that your endo will back

you up here. Your local lab can call the lab in CA. Mine did.
