I've never seen an osteopath. I have an appointment at a naturopathic clinic

next week. (Can't seem to find an allopathic doc that doesn't treat me like

a little white rat in a laboratory). So, what is an osteopath?

Hi a,

I have the two bottles in front of me.....the trademark name is DIM, short for

diindolylmethane, which has been shown to support the body in healthy

estrogen metabolism and hormone regulation. Contains BioResponse DIM, a

propriety formulation containing the pure dietary indole, diindolymethane

from plant source.

I have copied this from the label

the company is BioResponse, LLE, Boulder, CO 80302

........shouldnt take if prergnant, lactating or using birth control pills

the same product comes in a prostate formula with saw palmetto, stinging

nettles, beta-sitosterol, lycopene and pumplin seed oil. As i mentioned

before, my doctor is currently taking this for her own fibroids and has been

pleased with the shrinkage so far.

My Doctor, Dr. Beverly Goode, practices in Raleigh NC...she used to be an

allopathic doctor, emergency room medicine mostly, and went back to school to

become an osteopath because of what she saw....too many drug prescriptions

and lack of concern for the patient. She is a fantastic lady.....we sit like

old gossiping girls and talk about all concerns, she shares her own, and i

really feel that she cares and is looking out for me. There are no walls up,

and i can get my questions answered....she sees one patient at a time, one

room, her office, and stays with that patient until all immediate concerns

are taken care of.....she also has her own line of pills too where she gives

us patients a good price.....and this is not a commercial for her....just a

heartfelt appreciation to finally have a concerned doctor who will go out of

her way to make sure i am taken care of....and i feel secure for the first

time in many years and many gynos later. Jillian

ultrasound done since my blood work showed my liver numbers to be twice what

they should be....seems i have a few gallstones. She said a regular doctor

them for six months.....she gave me something called DIM (there is a long

scientific name i would have to get the bottle and copy if anyone is

for shrinking the prostate for men that also has saw palmetto in it....she

chose this second one for me...and told me she is taking it for her fibroids

as well. In six months we will check with another ultrasound to see what the

Dear JIlian

may I know how big is your fibroids and the exact name of the medicine that the

doctor prescribed for you.

I am 44, single. Diagnosed with 5 fibroids. Way back in 1998 was only 2. No

symptons right from the beginning. Peirod very regular but lasted about 2 days

with the 3rd day almost clean. Since my visit to the doctors in 1998, they have

told me to go on obsewrvation as I have no symptons whatsoever. I expolred with

them on removing teh fibroids which they think is not necessary as they are not

causing me any problems. I did ask if there is any medicine to take to shrink

the fibroids, they said no as the size then was too big for medicine to work

effectively and above all, if I sopped taking they will grow again. I then

explore with traditional Chinese herbalist and I was also on some herbs. [some

patients I know have their fibroids disappear after taking these presciprtions].

Periodic checkup since 1998 show no much growth and I stopped visiting doctors

since mid 2000, only taking herbs of and on. [previously, 3 packets every month]

When I have my period in October 2001, experienced pain like what doctors

termed as PMS pain. I have never experienced this sort of pain before. Then I go

on direct sale product produced by E Excel. Pain seems no so bad for the last

few months when I have period.

In Match 2002, I visited teh doctor and found I now saddled with 5 fibroids. The

doctor: suggested total removal of womb, said it is only useful for reproduction

and if I am not planning family and giben my age. may as well rid of it. The

size and number also are not good for me. [however, I could still go for my

bowel and urination. Should consider alright unlike some 'healthy people' who

suffer form consticipation]

Went for 2nd opinion in April. This 2nd doctor [professor of a government

sponsor hospital for training young medical students]. He is not insisting on

womb removal. Agreed with 1st doctor that if I opt for operation, it has to be

total removal. He thinks that any operation for removing only the fibroids does

not give me 'promising results' as the size of womb will be very much reduce

after their reemoval of fibroids. It may also cause a lot of bleeding because of

the number of fibroids involved. Told me to go back in 6 months time. He will be

exploring with his radiologist on fibroids embolisation.

I suppose I have been taking my fibroids problem too lightheartedly, until I

am told by the doctor that I have to go for total removal of womb and when

reading all these mails at this website.

I am waiting for the Oct appointment with the 2nd doctor and meantime, taking

the E Xecel products in big amount. I was told some women witn fibroids of a

size of a table tennis ball have disappear after taking these products for

sometime.

These E Excel products are also available in US as the founder, Dr Chen Chau Fei

is a dietician immunologist form US.

I am not promoting E Execel products, just sharing with your folks on this

information & hoping that I will be a lucky star like the other who have their

problems solved after taking these products.

Hi. I read something in a homeopathic book about

treatment for fibroids. It was a very large and

detailed book, not like one of the ones I have at

home. I KNOW homeopathy works for lots of

things, I have used it in acute cases for lots of

people and seen it do wonders.

If I am able to locate the book again, would you

be interested? It's not like herbalism, there is

no risk of overdose, and is complementary not

alternative, i.e. it can still be used w/

conventional drugs and treatments. No drug

interactions, can even be used before surgery

(and after) to reduce pain and swelling and

bruising. I know it works big time for that,

because I have had 3 cranial surgeries. A

pharmasist friend uses it also, and it really

helped when both he and his son had surgery.

Later!

because I have had 3 cranial surgeries. A

pharmasist friend uses it also, and it really

helped when both he and his son had surgery.

If I am able to locate the book again, would you

no risk of overdose, and is complementary not

alternative, i.e. it can still be used w/

conventional drugs and treatments. No drug

bruising. I know it works big time for that,

Vestibulitis is what it sounds like you have. Me too! Horrible isn't. Food

doesn't really effect vestibulitis. What you might try is biofeedback via

Dr. Glazer. I have just started it so no results to report yet. Have you

seen someone who specializes in vulvar problems. Where do you live?? My dr.

is in Washington DC. I live in NJ and think it is worth the trip once a

month to see a specilist.

best
