I just wanted to let you know that I had breast reduction in 1993 and have

never been sorry I went through it. I was only a 40 DDDD - but I had so much

extra " boob " that it would come up over the bra cups.

I have HEDS and very little skin problems - so all went well for me. I am

now a " normal " 38c and very happy with it (or them)!. I have to say, though,

that this surgery was before my HEDS diagnosis.

Good luck - which ever way you decide to go

Dear PeggyKaye,

I couldn't imagine being your size. I'm a 36 DD and think they are too

big! So many things I can't wear and all my shirts get stains right on my

'shelf'.

I agree that getting them reduced won't fix the problem just as when

these " docs " tell people all they need to do is lose weight. Sure it is

aggravating the problems just as being overweight would do. But there are

plenty people out here that have regular size breasts or are skinny little

things that have just as much problems with their joints. It may slow the

deterioration down of your shoulder, neck & back. But then again it may not

do anything at all.

Just be prepared for that possibility. So many of us have hung our

hopes on something that sounded so logical but ended up not working. Haven't

read all your posts but I hope that you are also thinking of doing this for

other reasons as well. Don't mean to be a pooper about this. Just the kind

of person who weighs all the possibilities.

Do wish you the best of luck in whatever you do!

Hugs,

HEDS, New Jersey, USA
