Guest guest
On the subject of home schooling, does small group home schooling exist? For example if you wanted your child to be home schooled, however you wanted your child in a small group, that way your child benefits in the "social/pragmatics" area. Does this exist? Guest guest
>Hi -Sandhya, I was searching for something similar for my son, just last month, and have a few suggestions for you. Google the " 600 " schools (named for the tax status) or " Umbrella " schools in your county. As I understand it, they essentially oversee the McKay funds for tutors, books, supplies, educational materials, therapists, all the homeschool needs. Here are some of the local " Umbrella " schools I found: Atrium School, Family Tree Private School, and Castle Oak Academy. I'm afraid I still don't have the entire system figured out yet, and I'm still on the fence between homeschool and private school, but I will be happy to pass along all the resources, contacts and links that I have gathered so far! E-mail me and I will send it along.
