Guest guest
Dear list members, I am sending this on behalf of Amrita Pande a PhD student in Sociology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is working on reproductive health movements in India. As part of her legwork for field research in India, she is now trying to make initial contacts with grassroots & non-governmental (NGOs)/non-profit organizations working to promote reproductive rights and women's health in urban/semi- urban areas and villages. She is specifically looking at organizations working in Northern India but would also like to get information from other states. Along with contact information of office holders/ activists within the said NGO/group she would appreciate a small introduction (e.g. mission statement, areas where they work, populations served and current/ existing programs). You can contact her on her email id Amrita Pande amritapande@... including details of the above or with contact information of people working within these organizations who I can follow with. Thanks in advance. Sincere thanks, Swati Birla Public health Researcher, UMass, Amherst E-mail: <swatibirla@...>
