Guest guest
I know with me sometimes when I start feeling good and thet the waight is coming off I get alittle lazy and comfterable. Thats when it comes back to bite you in the butt. You just need to get that fear back in ya you know that fat fear. Thats what does it for me is when I see the scale going up and up alittle every few days. I know how you feel though I have been eating alot in the evening again. It's really really hard for me too since I eat most of my pts or calories after 11 when I eat when I feel like it. It's true though if you just stop doing it like that the hunger feeling will gradualy fade. It's not fun though. You can do it and i know you will. You have already hit the first step of getting back on the wagon. That is being really afraid of the scale saying you gained. When it's really bad for me is when I know I am gaining and I have been eating like a pig and I just ignore the scale and don't even weigh at all. Now thats when I scare my self is when I stop careing. Then all of a sudden I gained 20 pounds. 20 is alot harder to lose then 2 or so. Sorry I'm rambling now. Your going to be fine just try not to eat in the evening. I also do what san said. Try eating fruit instead of anything else if you absalutely feel you need something. I also like fresh tomatos!! You have a garden eat some of those with just alittle salt if you need it. Michel -- In weightlossbuddies2@y..., " joeltina " <joeltina@e...> wrote: > Im so sorry Ang, I know how that feels. It's a real bummer. But I know you will nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand. Just dont panic like I did cause it made me eat more and now here I am 10 lbs. heavier than when I joined this group. > Hugs, Tina > major bummer :-( > > > 176. Can you believe it? Up 2 more pounds. I just put this one up this morning. http://www.thedietdiary.com/diet/nutrition/NASdietPlan.html The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) just came out with new dietary guidelines-- I think last Thursday. Some of the newspaper reports said people would find the large range of " acceptable " choices confusing. Anyway, I wrote up a little program that lets you enter your weight etc. and it will tell you how much to eat, how much should be carbohydrate, protein etc. By the way, since the NAS permits such a large range of carb/protein/fat proportions, I gave you a few buttons so you can pick whether you want high protein/fat etc. Oh-- I'll be revising the " Resting Energy Expenditure " page now that the NAS has more extensive guidelines.
