My wife changed jobs about a month ago and her insurance went into effect on Nov 1st. I have been off my Copaxone now for a month. I paid $50 a month through her old company and her new one wants to charge me $1100 for a 3 month supply. I told them no way. My doc's nurse told me to contact shared solution to see if they will help out. I was told on Thursday Shared Solution would get back with me within 24 hours. 24 hours is long gone. I will contact them again on Monday. They told me they investigate if insurance companies rip people off.

I was told I need my tax returns when they call me.

I will try what you mention if Share Solution turns out to be not helpful. I told my wife I hate that I get treated like I have the plague.

Wednesday we found out that Rick's application thru NORD (Nat'l Organization of Rare Diseases), this organization is a financial assistance organization for Copaxone. Anyway, his application was excepted and he'll be getting his medication again on Thursday the 23rd!!! He's been off/out of copaxone for about a month.

Finally I feel like something is going right and something positive! Now hopefully something positive will happen with the insurance. I'm still praying for something to happen.

But I had to share this news.

Bill, I think, I went to the National MS Society website, to Copaxone and then financial assistance. Nord is the group that helps with Copaxone. I'll try this way and another way to find out how I did this. I'll e-mail you back.
