Guest guest
Oh, I just LOVE it when I can share something with the group! Being a newbie that hardly ever happens :'). A week ago I needed help with a report I was doing - a CT of the sinuses. I said that it sounded like he was saying " hilar cells " but I couldn't document that anywhere. No one could say for sure what it was, so I blanked it. It turned out to be Haller cells. Here's the definition that Stedman's gives: :A variant of ethmoidal air cell developing into the floor of the orbit adjacent to the natural ostium of the maxillary sinus. A diseased Haller cell is capable of obstructing that ostium and producing a maxillary sinusitis. " Just thought everyone would like to know! And thanks again for trying to help.
