This is the best risk I've heard of in a while, Ken -- even though a kid with an attitude can be a royal pain to share a domicile with. > and we're comfortable enough to move on to the next fire - a serious > drop in income and dealing with collection agencies soon. Thanks for sharing the challenges as well as the triumphs, Ken -- it helps to remember that we're not the only ones in some of these boats. (Such as having the major employer in the county switch insurance carriers, resulting in a 2-month-and counting lag in getting my clients' claims paid....) Set yourselves a rain date for celebrating that anniversary! > the family from Pakistan will > be arriving in the states next week and going to ish Rite for evaluation > - surprisingly got it real quick!!! No kidding! Tell them, if they have any reason to be near Savannah, to give me a call. I'd be happy to meet them for lunch, a break, whatever. Let me know if they'd like my phone #s. Guest guest
I just remembered that as usual, I've been too concerned with everyone else but my family and myself. Just a quickie update as I've been too busy to update my site lately. For anyone interested, Rhys is now about 40 pounds and is at risk (read on!!) to not reaching his 7th birthday. If his attitude real wise-alec to put it politely, doesn't straighten out then it's just a matter of which one of us has enough money to put out a contract on his life (, , myself, and ). Medically he seems to be doing fine, and the roller coaster ride we took in December was very short lived now that he gets 4 cans of Pediasure at night. As for (just a mere 39 pounds about 15 months ago), she tipped the scale at 57.5 pounds last week. We're breathing a little easier, she's not as moody, and we're comfortable enough to move on to the next fire - a serious drop in income and dealing with collection agencies soon. Hopefully can pull a salary before the well runs dry. Once that's done, then can work on our relationship which always seems to take the back burner. We've been soooo busy ( doing overtime to try to make ends meet) that we both forgot our 15th anniversary 12 days ago. Well, that's about it for now. I'll try to update the website within the next month or so. Also, for those interested, the family from Pakistan will be arriving in the states next week and going to ish Rite for evaluation - surprisingly got it real quick!!!
