Hi .. .welcome!

You know what just makes me crazy? More often than not, the docs will say,

" I doubt if you have Lyme Disease. " Why do they doubt this? Are WE the

only ones who are aware of the staggering numbers of Lyme patients? Are the

docs blind to this?

Geeeezzz!!!

Sorry, just had to vent a little.

Glad you got a diagnosis and welcome to the club. I would prefer to

NOT belong to this particular club but as long as I have to, it's nice to

know that there are

good people to talk to with.

Have a good day!!

Ann (who got a hair cut and is feeling much-o better today)

I have only seen my Family Dr so far, I guess when the western blot results

come in we will take it from there. I am taking Doxie for 21 days. I may

need the name of a LLMD here in Pittsburgh, PA. if anyone knows of one

please let me know.

Thanks,

If You have had Lyme for more than a year you definatley need to see a

specialist and you absolutly, definately no doubt about it need much more than

twenty one days of antibiotics. I will try to look up a Dr. in PA for you and

God, , what a way to find out you had this lovely disease! I have

to tell you, though, I am really happy for you that you read my saga and

that your doctor was thorough!!!!! You spared yourself a life of

HELL!!!!

I have been reading your posts on the LymeAid...I just got back from

Florida about an hour ago and am trying to catch up.

The GOOD news is-

not everyone gets a HORRIBLE case of Lyme. As far as the doctors can

figure, I have had it since 1989 and until the vaccine it was tolerable.

I also had vague symptoms but nothing I couldn't live with. If you found

out about it by " accident " and are getting it treated, you might not

become one of the hordes of people who wind up completely debilitated

from it. I hope that you don't!!!!!

Be well!

Alison

Hi Carmen,

And welcome to the list. Like you, I'm not from America, I'm from the UK but

everyone's welcome here. I'm responding to your email because my 25 years old

ASD daughter, Zoe, is chelating. I think she might be the eldest chelating

person with ASD on this list although there are a few other 'veterans' !

You mention the MMR connection with your daughter, in fact, Zoe, because of her

age never had this vaccination and it is most probable that her autism is due to

toxicity from maternal amalgam fillings in utero and thimerasol 'preservative'

in the DPT. If you want to look at some of the muck they put into vaccines, and

don't forget, when you read thimerosal, read mercury, try the following:

Best wishes,

Terry Fitton, UK.
