Guest guest Posted February 13, 2002 Report Share Posted February 13, 2002 I don't know about glue breath, but ever since going GF/CF my son's breath seems to smell like MILK alot. He isn't drinking any type of milk substitute at all, so I find this very strange. My thoughts are that this is either just his normal breath smell or possibly yeast. It has been a few months and I still notice it fairly frequently. I can't offer a sloution, but maybe someone else here can offer some ideas. About time someone developed a breathometer as its difficult to describe these different smells. I don't know why your son's breath smells like that, but I am wondering if you are giving him probiotics. And also... did you ever check his ammonia levels? Guest guest Posted February 13, 2002 Report Share Posted February 13, 2002 my nt daughter had this very same breath.....she ended up having yeast problems and a bacterial infection....you all may remember my posting about her rash around her mouth and the doc saying to use lotrimin for it... it went away immediatly then rebounded with a vengance!!! she ended up having to take a broad spectrum antibiotic...now has a diaper rash=yeast...doc won't give us nystatin sooooooooooooooooo i'm looking for gse... neva --------------------------------- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
