The Fellowship in HIV/AIDS Medicine is a certificate course conducted through a network of premier medical institutions in different zones of the country, using a combination of distance and contact based learning. Medical College & School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata is offering this course for Eastern India. Doctors working in secondary and primary care institutions with an interest in strengthening their skills in HIV/AIDS care and developing HIV/AIDS services in their institutions, are invited to apply to the training institution. The course was developed by the Christian Medical College Vellore, and has been conducted there for the past three years. The course is for one calendar year and consists of four contact sessions at the training institution, supervised distance learning and project work. Candidates will be selected based on a set application procedure.
