Autism Transition Checklist

CESA 7 Department of special education posted a transition checklist for students with autism on its website. This is in response to inquiries from staff and parents seeking effective ways to transition students with autism from elementary to middle school, and from middle school to high school. It was adapted from the book Asperger Syndrome and Adolescence by Myles and Adreon.

The checklist (with a print option) includes the preplanning stage, academic modifications, environmental and social supports, and others. It is located
