Hi All,

I haven't posted for a few days but have been reading. Welcome to

everyone who's new. I need to post this just to check in and put

this in writing. I had a really good week. I have been listening to

my hunger and stopping when I was just satisfied. I am goin camping

this weekend and I think just thinking about packing for the trip

made me kind of nervous, I love camping but for some reason never

look forward to planning out what I am goin to bring. also I have

been taking something like an antibiotic that has made my stomach

kind of upset so it has been harder to feel hungry even if I haven't

eaten for a few hours. Anyway yesterday when I got home from work, I

ate alot and ate when I was not hungry. I did pretty good today, at

least through the meal. Dessert was another story. It's true that

if you are not hungry when you start to eat something there really is

no way of knowing when to stop. I mean if you are already satisfied

whe you start and are eating for other reasons - where is the line

where you cut it off? I guess I need to give myself a break. This is

a learning experience right? I am learning what pushes my food

buttons.

The thing that has me kind of scared is that I really felt good this

week and felt like I was getting it. I am a little nervous that I

will be munching alot on this trip as it is one of the things we do,

my friends and I; hiking, hanging out at the camp site reading,

snacking, you know?

I mean I don't know if I can only eat when I am hungry or even if I

want to . But I am going to try. Who knows maybe it will be a lot

easier than I think.

Anyway, hope everyone had a good thanksgiving - I will check in with

you all when I get back.

Sorry for the long rant. I am leving in the morning so any feedback

or suggestions will be appreciated .
