Dr. Epstein clearly told us that he expected a 97-98% chance of full recovery for (which happened immediately). This is not meant as a slight to your Doc, but levels of experience can make all the difference in the world, and your doctor is not going to tell you " Joanie, I really want to get some experience with this surgery, but Dr. Epstein might do a better job " . YOU have to make the informed decisions about surgery based on your gut feelings and research, not on the easiest way to do it.
