Guest guest
Dear FORUM, I have been vocal since 1996 for involvement of NGOs at grassroots level but in vain. I don't blame NACO and any other authorities because they have to follow particular administrative guideline. It is the only genuine ngos/cbos can contribute more to HIV/AIDS program. Responsibility of NGOs is also to be channalised as AIDS/HIV has created mushrooms organization. We in Gujarat enforced private blood banks to stop collecting blood through blood donation camps but in one year time 90% private blood banks were registered under charity act and manipulated as CBO. One needs transparency at various level and i think everybody should put honest attempt to harness HIV in our country.
