My first was breech but Dr was able to turn him-had normal delivery w/ him. @nd was transverse--same thing-turned him. When I was pregnant w/ 2nd I couldn't remember my last period so Dr did ultrasound to determine due date and found other sac that had something in it--called it a vanishing twin b/c sac was right next to sac w/ fetus. Now I have a bicornuate uterus. Had lots of bleeding in first trimester, put on some bedrest then limited activity until 12 weeks pregnant. Now my AFP test has come back high--at risk for spina bifida. Nurse said that might happen, also said that with 2 nd baby but test was fine. I am very worried about chance of birth defect. I have ultrasound 1/22/02. Wondering if any correlation btwn bicornuate uterus, other sac and high AFP test results. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
