Isabelle, reading both the messages above, I am now wondering if

tambocor is causing your atrial tachycardia. I was on a med (detrol)

recently, and it sent me into atrial tachycardia. I went back into a

normal heart rate about a day after it was discontinued. The time to

revert to normal when a med is causing this probably varies from med

to med, depending on how long the med takes to get out of your body.

Hello Isabelle

I started taking Tambocor (100 mg) about a month ago. Before I took

it only when having lots of extra beats.

I am going to ask my cardiologist to switch to another med but I

will wait untill after my trip to Boston in September.

Thank you for the reply. It sure feels comforting to talk to people

in a similar situation.

Tambacor caused tachy in me too. One of the reasons I was taken off it.
