Anne and ,

Thank you for the info about Neocate. I will check into it.

Anne, I can use the luer lock syringes, but I just like the

monoject ones much better. Mine have lasted two years and

never swell and get stuck like the luer lock ones. It is

not a necessity, just something to improve the quality of my

life. I know is sounds silly, but sometimes it is the

little things that make the difference!

As far as the lids, we haven't been in the hospital for 2

years (thank goodness) so I haven't been in a good position

to ask for new lids. We get our equipment through the home

supplier for the hospital, and they claim they have no idea

what I'm talking about. Again, not a big deal, just makes

life nicer!

You know, when I was a kid, I read that kids who drank milk had been found

to carry less fat than kids who didn't drink milk. It was considered a

mystery, and attributed to better diets in general.

It's starting to look like it just might be the calcium!

I was one of those kids who was forced to drink milk at every meal!

I don't think that I have ever carried less fat; I've always been

overweight. As a child, it was easier for me (or my mom?) to outfit

me in boys huskies clothes. Wasn't that nice for a 10 year old!

Maybe I was one of those who it didn't matter on. But, I'm still a

milk drinker!

i think i'll have to start buying milk again, currently i don't drink

it, everyone else drinks two percent an di drink skim. i will have

to start drinking it again, boy that on top of the water i will

surely be going to the bathroom all the time. but it will replace

hunger and will help keep my bones strong. i know women have a

harder time at that then men.

Re: Milk

I was wondering if anyone remembers the link to get the ww points

without joining Weight Watchers. I remember awhile back (probably

months) that someone had it.

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!

Count me in as a milk drinker too, but I would not say excessive. I

just buy the small one quart size and it lasts me a few days

usually. I put it in my tea, sometimes for cooking things, my cereal

and well once in awhile I will have a very small glass just to

drink.

I have even had it where it will get bad in my refrigerator though so

I don't drink alot.
