5th Annual HIV/AIDS Update. January 7 & 8, 2006. Mumbai

The Medical Research Council of Maharashtra in partnership with University of

South Florida, USA is hosting 'The 5th Annual Update on HIV/AIDS' on January 7 &

8, 2006, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The venue of the conference is INS Kunjali,

Captain Mahendranath Mulla Auditorium, Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai.

Theme: 'HIV/AIDS: Bridging the Gap between Theory and Practice'.

The highlights of this Update will be scientific sessions by renowned National

and International faculty.

The sponsors of this update are AIDS Research & Control Organization (ARCON),

Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society (MSACS), Mumbai District AIDS Control

Society (MDACS), AVERT Society, Kripa Foundation and Government of Maharashtra.

The Scientific sessions will cover topics related to Prevention & Care, the

National ART Program, HIV Management & Coinfectiions

It is for the first time that a scientific update will have experts from

government, municipal, private and defence sector deliberating on a common

platform.
